Tuscany at McCormick Ranch

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Tuscany at McCormick Ranch and meeting with Megan McLean, the Director of Sales. Touring local communities and gathering information is a key part of our new senior concierge initiative, which aims to provide our clients and followers with comprehensive resources about Senior Living Communities. Tuscany at McCormick Ranch is conveniently located on San Victor, just down the street from HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center and near Fry’s on Via Linda and 90th Street. One of the standout features of this location is its proximity to the Scottsdale Trail Greenbelt Path, one of my favorite spots for morning walks. Tuscany at McCormick Ranch is an Independent Living Community with the unique feature of offering not only Apartment Homes but also One- and Two-Bedroom Villas. The monthly rate is based on the floor plan you choose, with options ranging from a 698 sq. ft. 1-Bedroom Apartment Home to a 1,458 sq. ft. 2-Bedroom Villa. Rates start at $4,600 per month. Although Tuscany at McCormick Ranch is primarily an Independent Living Community, they also have an on-site home health partner, ComForCare, for residents who may need additional care.

With only 85 units, Tuscany at McCormick Ranch offers a close-knit community where everyone seems to know each other by name, as was evident during my tour with Megan. I visited around lunchtime, and the dining room at Da Vinci’s, the on-site restaurant, was full of energy. Da Vinci’s is renowned for its excellent food, prepared by a chef who previously worked at the Roaring Fork, a well-known restaurant in Scottsdale. Megan introduced me to several residents, all of whom were incredibly friendly. A 92-year-old gentleman even invited me to join their poker game, saying they needed one more player. The sense of community and the positive vibe were truly palpable.
