Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting Belmont Village Senior Living and touring the community with Holly Mallick from their community relations team. As part of our new senior concierge initiative, which aims to provide our clients and followers with comprehensive resources about senior living communities, touring local communities and gathering detailed information is a key focus. Belmont Village Senior Living is conveniently located on Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd near 100th Street, making it easily accessible and close to local amenities.

I had the chance to meet the teachers who run this program. They craft engaging classes on a wide range of topics, like aviation (the subject during my visit) and pineapples (a recent class that concluded with serving pineapple upside-down cake). The goal is to stimulate discussion among the residents, keeping their minds active and engaged. The enthusiasm and interaction between the seniors and staff were evident, showing how much this program is valued within the community.
The founder and CEO, Patricia Will, created Belmont Village based on her personal experience with her mother-in-law, Josephine Will, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease in the mid-nineties. Struggling to find a community that could provide the necessary care, Patricia was inspired to create a place that set high standards in senior living. The first floor also features a great room, bistro, town hall, courtyard, and a heated pool. The second floor includes a center for learning, a library, and the “Circle of Friends” program. The community offers 130 studio apartments, which can be combined to create one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartments, providing flexible living options for residents.
