Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Amber Creek Inn Memory Care Community and speaking with the Director of Community Relations, Melissa Sejba. Touring local communities and gathering information is a key part of our new senior concierge initiative, which aims to provide our clients and followers with comprehensive resources about Senior Living Communities. Amber Creek Inn is conveniently located on 92nd Street, just a block away from HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center.
The monthly rate at Amber Creek Inn is determined by the type of suite and level of care, starting at $8,500 per month. Suites are currently available for immediate occupancy. Amber Creek Inn Memory Care is unique in that it exclusively offers Memory Care services, with multiple options available, including Month-to-Month stays, Respite Stays (14–30 days), and Day Stays (up to 14 hours per day).

Koelsch Communities, a family-owned business founded in 1958, designed and built Amber Creek with the sole purpose of providing exceptional care for individuals diagnosed with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, or memory loss. Every member of the staff undergoes specialized training on how to interact with the community members, and a nurse is available on-site 24 hours a day. The community has a warm and charming atmosphere, with personal touches such as resident photos and bios outside their doors and time-specific elements throughout the property, including a classic car in the courtyard.
Amber Creek Inn Memory Care Community places a strong emphasis on the safety of its residents, offering safety features not typically found in Assisted Living Communities. The community enriches the lives of its residents with scratch-made meals that deliver both nutrition and enjoyment, and through the Koelsch seven pillars of Living Well®: Nature, Art, Spirit, Mind/Body, Friends/Family, Community, and Music. The activity calendar is packed with events to keep residents entertained and engaged, often starting at 9:30 a.m. with exercises for both body and mind. Other activities throughout the day include singing, trivia, bingo, reading, and usually end with a fun event at 6:00 p.m., depending on the day of the week.
The commitment and compassion of the staff at Amber Creek Inn were very evident during my visit, and I was deeply impressed by the community.
